I'll rephrase my question, I need the bracket which holds the clutch master cylinder to the firewall next to the brake servo, but I don't want to pay £150 for this bracket.

My question is does this bracket space the cylinder off the firewall?

I am going to try not to use the bracket but I would like to make sure it is spaced off the firewall the same distance as it would be with the bracket so can anyone with experience in fitting this bracket tell me if it's flush to the firewall or does it space it off ?

Sorry if my question is badly written

for RHD cars, all you need is the pedal box. the bracket I think you're talking about if only for LHD models, you're looking at the one on the engine bay side right?
