    love the polo ive got a mk2 polo and want 2 make it that little bit quiker do u have any tips?

    I love it. This is almost an externalisation of what I have in my mind when I look at those mk2 breadies.
    Have you considered mounting the oil cooler behind a honeycomb front number plate? Does that even make sense. I've seen it done on other cars for getting more air into the bay but I reckon that could be adapted for this application.

    I sold it to a friend as a rolling shell who then put an engine in it and sold it to its current owner... It's done a 13.27 1/4 in its current form on an open diff and running 1bar of boost (not sure on turbo)...when I had it, it had a 100% locking plate type diff and was running 1.5bar boost from a saab 9000 T25 on an equal length manifold and a few other goodies as well...With slicks on in my build, it was a 12second car for sure...

    The beige beast is, to date, the most fun I've had in any car I've owned or been in, I'm happy that the current owner is using it for what it was meant for, surprising people and getting a reaction.
