A couple of friends have posted there motors on here so i thought i would do the same for some constructive criticism.

    As she began

One KR and a 9A later and

Completed and used as a road/track car

    Then whilst at Knockhill :o

Then after originally planning to replace the gearbox and do some lightening things got a bit out of hand

    Stripped the wiring loom

    mmm much lighter

Stitch welding the chassis also got a bit out of hand

    penetration FTW
    [IMG]

Then i bought a cage thinking it would be easy enough to install and i will safely say never again but......

    More additions

Then a bit bored and liking the idea of it

    completed that

Filler in the rear quarter who wants one there ?

Seat postitioning with a brewski or two ....

Oh yeah that allowed the rear cross in the main hoop to go in, i left it out to allow a bit more room to manouvere

Car back from being blasted and etched on the inside underneath and the engine bay.

Then it sat for a long time whilst i made heaps of little changes to little things such as flaring the rear arches dont have any pics of much else as it was all kind of trivial stuff.

Then just a two weeks ago i finally pulled the finger out and painted the underneath so i could stick her on her wheels to go to the bodyshop for some paint.

Rolling for the first time in a year

Tip top craftman's welding. IIRC you are a welder by trade?

Chris - Not a welder by trade just something i have always done. Hoping to have beautiful TIG welding on aluminium and stainless as soon as i teach myself so i can knock up some other things ;)

Coullstar - Northeast Autobody are doing the paint, the same people that painted Alis MK1

That is awesome. I'd love to do my Mk2 to this level, but sadly lack the skills and patience.
