Since my post about the wayyyyyyyyyyyy over priced scirocco , got my thinking are they any nice Mk2's out there? I cant find any pics of good ones (waiting for everone to say how ugly they are )
Just trawl Ebay and have a look on the Scirocco Register too. There's plenty out there for what's peanuts really.
I've hammered mine daily for nearly 3 years. Cheapest car I've ever used as a daily driver and been the most reliable. Bonnet's pink, steel wheels, standard even down to the stereo but I wouldn't have it any other way. You don't see as many modified as "kids" will pay the insurance for a MK2 Golf but not a Scirocco as it's not fashionable. Their loss.
I know of a totaly original E plater with 86k miles going for 500 Going to pass it's MOT on Saturday, with the help of two new CV boots. (not bad considering it's been in the garage for the last year)
Can't find any? Hmmmmm Ugly? Never! Also check out Scirocco World Site, plenty on there. This is my baby! Taken at the Pod last Sunday. This is T.RedGTX's again taken at Santa Pod Here's Throbbes, funnily enough at The Pod.
