    Hi All,

Could anyone point me in the direction of a diagram with the measurements of a standard Mk2 Golf bolt in roll cage please?

Specifically I would like to know how close one designed for an Audi 80 Sport (early 80's one) is to fitting a Mk2 and whether it could feasibly be adapted to suit.

To make the thead slightly more interesting, here's a pic of the car I intend to put the cage in... (pic borrowed from Nothloop)

    Any help much appreciated :)

    Cheers
    Stu

Thanks Steve - that might help, if they are easy enough to post up or email then they'd be much appreciated. :)

Yes please - if you could take a few measurements that would help a lot. Thanks! :)

I basically want to find out how close an Audi 80 cage is to Mk2 Golf size and whether it's viable to try and make it fit, or whether I'd be wasting my time and should hold out for a proper Mk2 cage you see.

Prof - is it a full or half cage and how much too tall and narrow is it? Ibiza is more like Polo Mk4 size isn't it?

Would it feasibly be able to be adapted to suit a Mk2, interested if so.

Got any pics? PM me if you like :)

i bought it for 50 was out of a load of cars they used to run at silverstone or somewhere northants area

6 point welded x brace instead of diag-same as badger bills

it will fit in if you chop the legs down a bit but the main problem is the distance detween the rear legs is a bit narrow so you'd need to box out from the struts or something

i may still be using mine, but should be some kicking around on the seat forums cheap
