Mine was a lot louder with the undercarpet & bulkhead soundproofing out at Oulton, hardly a suprise really! but may be too much as yr road car G
Best way to do it, I would love to get a LHD mk2 non-sunroof shell and start from scratch etc etc blah blah blah Edited by: GVK
mine WAS a non-sunroof shell, then some idiot decided that he wasnted a glass sunroof, so the car was shipped off to some sunroof fitting butchers in cardiff, who cut a hole in the brand new corrado to fit some gay tilt and slide thing. needless to say, I will be replacing the roof panel.
LOL!! It was a long time ago I unwrapped mine and remember that.. took ages even with my folks helping! Scott
Scott, can you remember if you had the plate for the front feet with the nuts welded to it, inside or under the car? Edited by: GVK
I had it underneath, but i have seen it put in fromthe top too... Don't remember any instructions though. I do remember having o resahpe the floor a little for it to sit flat.
Thanks, Going to put an angled plate from floor up to the inner sill to reinforce where the front cage feet will mount to the floor, so will probably just bolt through it and use the plate with the nuts on under the car. Soundproofing will be going back in only went up the road half a mile and it was like I was driving with the doors open Edited by: GVK
