mk2 rwd???

    anyone ever toyed with the idea of a mk2 rwd.
    you could diff the engine round alrite, but how about a gearbox to suit? what would you go for?
    and what rear axle/driveshaft setup. sounds more bother than what its worth, but im up for a challenge of any kind.

    do volkwagen have any rwd models? i cant think of any other than the beetle lol

    im open to your thoughts and comments lol :thumbup:

    puttin the engine in the back might be easier but i want the donkey in front of the cart. lol

    You could get a golf/jetta syncro and just remove the front driveshafts, job done.

    and dont forget the bag of cement to soak up all the oil you dump through the holes when you pull off the drive... :lol:

    Waste of time IMO; might as well buy an E30 BMW or similar to start with...
