Will a mk3 vr6 air box fit in the engine bay of my mk2 VR6?

I know a corrado vr6 one fits perfectly because I have borrowed one.

I know what he will say:

f**k the air box relocate it under you wing, thats where the cold air isLOL.

Ive spoke to him today and at well lane on Sunday. I am putting the whole air intake and exhaust recirculation systems back to standard. I just need to know whether to buy my own corrado air box or to dig out the old mk3 vr6 one I got with my engine (if its exactly the same as the corrado)

Well the bottom of the corrado one i borrowed is exacly the same as the old 16v one i have so i just need my own top/lid.

Is the mk3 lid the same as the corrado lid?
