I have the opportunity to buy a set of 16' BBS RX2 7x16 ET 43. I would like to be sure these wheels are from a MK3 model. I guess MK4 model are only 6.5x16... but didn't remember the offset.
Could you confirm the offset of ET43 on the MK3 Anniversary?

pretty sure it is...think the mkIII ones are kinda polished, where as the mkIV ones are painted like most alloys. quite often for the mkIII ones to corrode...thats why i want a set of the mkIV ones.

yeah, william (oakgreen88) yours have the same finish as the mkIII anni ones (costs a lot to refurb them)...always have a prob gettin water under the laquer. think thats why the mkIV ones have the normal alloy wheel finish.

i really need to find a decent place, some say they wont do it cos its a diamond cut rim, and the corrosion may have gone too far, they said all they can do is a normally alloy wheel finish, - i really wanna keep the diamond cut rim!

frenchman, I can confirm mk3 anni wheels are ET43 and 7x16", the mk4 ones are 6.5x16".

as to refirbing them, mine cost about 300 to do the lot, with a diamond cut unlaquered lip, but I had to split them and build them myself.

As he said, they are Polo GTI wheels, hence 4 stud. The Golf Anni wheels are 5 stud.
