    Hi,

    I have a MK3 VR6 that recently had an an OBD1 to OBD2 conversion.
During the conversion I have been told that the servo and MC were removed.

At a track day following the swap I noticed the pedal had to be pushed further before getting a bite from the brakes, The pedal seems to have come back into the car more than before.
The brake light switch is activated if I barely touch the pedal.

I have searched and found that there is a white plastic connector block on the back of the pedal where the push-rod connects the pedal to the servo.

On checking my car this plastic clip moves and is loose.

My question is... How do I fix the problem??

Do I need to get a new clip for the back of the pedal and refit to cure the sloopy feel?
Is there anything else I should check?

Any advice, guidance, pics etc gratefully received,

    Ian

Yes its the grey highlighted part number 6is loose.

Not sure if the part 7 is still there looking at that as the rod goes straight through the clip no6.

Thanks for that.... what do I do?

    Thanks,

Any guides or pics or further advice?

Do you have to take the pedals off or remove the servo?

you can remove the pedals from the pedal box, but if it will be possible with it all in the car am not sure. 4 nuts hold servo to bulkhead though. id guess you will need to undo these nuts and push servo forward to get clearance to remove pedal and/or swap the clips
