I'm sure I asked this on the old forum, but i've forgotten what the answer was [:s]

Will mk3 Golf gti seats fit into a mk2 golf gti with no modifications? Front and rear?

    Cheers

Front frames need taking in about 2" (pretty hard)

Rear bum bit fits straight in. (piece of p1ss)

Rear upright need shelf supports cutting, and 3 brackets welding to your car. 2 on the wheel arches to hold the outer bracket and one in the middle to support them and alow the 60/40 split. (pretty easy just take your time)

Fitted front MK3 Recaros into my MK2, u need to cut the the outer legs(MK3 2inches wider on the outer leg the the front and inner legs fits perfectly) and reweld them to fit into your existing rails, make sure the alignment is right or else the seat will jam on the rails. Good luck.
