Mk3 Golf heater not getting hot

    Hi.. My heater doesnt get hot on my mk3 Golf. Gets luke warm and thats it. What could be the problem?

    air in the heater matrix of a dead stat not letting the water get up to full temp, as a first guess

    Sounds like same symptoms as mine last week new thermostat an it's all good now

    at work 'working'
    Id say thermo before matrix, if it was a mk2 then it would have been the bypass valves.
