Hi, hopefully someone can help me with my question, car is a R reg mk3 golf vr6. Over the past week or so 1st gear could be selected but once selected there would be a slight rattle noise, almost like it wasn't selecting properly. Could still drive in the gear but noise would stay. But now it seems to of got worse and im unable to select 1st, 2nd or reverse with the gear stick, i tried to select reverse at the gearbox and it seems to work ok (was testing if the reverse lights came on). This leads me to believe its something shiftier related? Any help would be helpful Thanks Mat
