    Hi,

I have been struggling to find a set of front wide wings and rear arches for a mk3 golf.. Can any one shed any light?

I want wide front wings and than maybe wider rear panels or bolt on arches

I have tried the search button but only only old threads where they are no longer being sold by sellers.

They are for my MK3 track car.

Would appreciate all input and help

Usually the rear archers are rolled out. You can do the same with the fronts too but depends on the condition of the panels regarding any rust.

This is how you do it for a reasonable amount of width

    cheers all for the input.

Sirguydo- thanks for the pictures.. they are already rolled fully and not enough space still at a decent height. just can not find bolt on ones that are already in production.

    Dom.joy yes def going 18s..

How much more width do you need ?
    What skills you got ?
You could slit the inner wing from the rear outer to give more flexibility then roll more and weld a fillet in the cut gap ?
Releasing the outer panel from the inner should give you a fare bit to play with but you've got welding to do then .

I'd have thought 18's on mk3 would be a bit big.

Voomeran in Japan do a tailored wide arch kit but expect to pay ALOT of money.
SSAutowerks sell standard bolt on drift arches but in 3 different sizes. Im sure if you mailed them they might be able to recommend which would be sized best for mk3.

    Cheers boys..

i got the skills Sirguydo..Just not something i wanna get into.. Would prefer to cut away the arch and bolt on another to make life easier than to spend time cutting and shaping the arch.. Thanks for the help.

Dom.joy.. I quite like the look of 18s personally and with the power it helps from standstill..i seen the voomeran kit before but for the price is def not worth it.. Will give SS Autowerks a message and see if they can help

    Thank You Very much

    Hi

I just started to sell Mk2 version of Wide Body Wheel Arches in UK for resonable price here:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wide-Body...or-for-Golf-MK2-3-15-16-in-10cm-/181681445461

They are professional, very lightweight (4KG per set), made of special fibreglass and polymer composites, similar to Voomeran.
I can sell them cheapier outside the ebay because ebay and paypal take a lot of fees = 14%
The interent shop is under construction.
I am thinking about selling the Mk3 version as well.
How many people would be interested?
If you wish to preorder I can get them in not longer than a few weeks.
I am based in Hemel Hempstead, near M25 and M1 - viewing welcome.

    Kind regards

i did actually see these.. as i wanted the boot.. but being just skins i think will be to thin for a fast road car as it is not a pure track car although i really wanted them along with a carbon/fibreglass roof to remove my sunroof..

Also when i emailed the company a few times i had no reply so went off the idea from them..
