hi, i've had the abs light come on and i have come to the conclusion that its the ABS pump that is leaking, and hint/tip on repair/removal and replacement? thanks
Just replace like for like, I bled mine with VAG-Com afterwards. (My ABS ECU was knackered but was connected to pump)
so is it just a simple unbolt the 6 pipes, unbolt the unit, replace with new unit then the 6 pipes then just bleed the whole system? also im not sure what ECU code mine is but i have the part number off the pump, does the ECU code matter, my pump seems to be matching up with the pumps from the mk4 golfs :S (mines 96 mk3 GTI) thanks
