Has anyone experienced this problem them selves? I was wondering if any of you know of a fix for this? My 1997 GTI has failed its MOT as a result of this. I can't for the life of me figure it out! I have tried a total of three stalks and still have the same fault. All other electrics work perfectly, all the lights have good bulbs in them, all the fuses are good. The current stalks little pivot mechanism is working fine ( not broken etc..) Could it be a relay? Or a bad earth ? I do not know where to look for these if they are worth checking. Any advice would be much appreciated as until I solve this I cant get the MOT. Thanks in advance. Tom.
