Am thinking about going the flush route after having ruined my rs bumper. how easy is it to mount the mk3 indicators to the fog holes,i have'nt got the bits to hand to check the fit which is why i'm asking. In pics i've noticed some are positioned a bit deeper in the bumper (like the fogs) and some that seem to stick a little bit out(tad dodgy looking). Would appreciate any hints or opinions offered. cheers
Could you not just use the standard fogs as indicators? Just use a suitable mount for an orange bulb?
What do you mean by a suitable mount? i aint got my fogs to look at the mo. dunno if the indicator loom will work if plugged into the fog?
Why wouldn't it work? Just mount a normal orange indicator bulb in them - might need a different bulbholder?
cheers but i am thinking about going back to the standard route with a bit of smoothing. I've had the rs for bout 4 years now so a change is due. Still is there no one whos done the mk3 fitment out there?? thanks
yes m8 i have done it in mine look,s the tits and everything work,s as u say i have had mine on the car for 3 years and after throwing 7k at it it,s time for a change now bought v6 corrado so the 8v has to goregards SWETY
yeah ive got mk3 indicators in the fogs, they fit in dead easy, the standard wiring is just about long enough too, just use mk3 bulb holder and indicator, mine even clicked into place off the standard mk3 fit (2 lugs one end with a sprung clip) i could seal them in but havent yet, they sit still and never move about so im not gonna seal them in, because to change a bulb ill need to take them out, as i cant get the bulb holder out as there is not enough room behind the indicators.
Not too difficult then! I'll have to have a word with the body shop and see about filling the indicator holes out. Nice car by the way D4RK1!! Feeling them vents
cheers mate, do the cut outs yourself!!!!!! its only thin plastic, will take u 5 mins each side and thats being very careful! if u have a drememl your laughing, if not drill a hole in each corner n get a jnr hacksaw blade to cut across. Very simple.
