    hi all,

im sure that i once saw a mk1 running a 32/34 weber carb that had a mk3 style air box, well at least the top part with a cone or such on.

basically i mean the bit that fits on top of the single point injection unit on the driver versions of the mk3.

    can any one help??

    cheers

I used to have setup that sounds a little bit like what your describing. I didnt use the top off of a spi throttle body though, i got mine from a citroen cs family or something? (big ghostbuster looking thing, about 1980).

I think these cars all used to come as standard with a 34DMTR carburettor (except the FI models) so the inlet pipe fits straight onto your 32DMTR or 32/34DMTL or whatever.

Also from what i remember you could fit it either way round so your airbox or cone could be either side of your engine bay.

I'll try and find it if im back at my folks at the weekend and put a piccy up
