I just bought a MK3 Golf with the 1Z engine. It starts and runs fine, but the idle is huntding a bit, like someone's stabbing the throttle pedal quickly, and it's quite jerky as you accelarate. The throttle pedal also has a 1/2 second delay from pressing it down to the engine actually speednig up. Was thinking it might be the throttle pedal sender, but was wondering if anyione else has had the same problem? Cheers.
