Mk3 VR6 rad & fans on a mk2 VR6

Can i use the rad and fans off the mk3? I know the rad is deeper so i'd need to knock up some brakets but are the fans thicker than rado vr ones?

(I also know the fans are part of the front panel and that i'd have to butcher it)

i use a mk3 ABF rad and TDI fans, there was a picture on another thread of em, fits in lush, just saw the fibreglass fan shroud down a bit

I could always mod the rad support i guess.

 

Mk4 fans are very thin (especially the SEAT 1.8t engined cars) and are more reliable.
Corrado and MK3 fans are not so reliable and are bulky
