G'Day all, The other night (after the van [vwt4] failed it's MOT dramatically and the bike [cbr900rr] boiled it's battery) I took the MK4 GTI out, unfortunately; I was greated my an iffy clutch pedal and a whine in 2nd, 3rd and 4th. So, clutch and gearbox time, wehey! Now, the clutch is easy and I have sourced clutch and DMF for 306, marvellous. Gearboxes seem more tricky, as there appear to be approximately five thousand vag group variants. So... Mine is an AUG engine with an EUS box (according to the sticker in the boot), Will any other box fit? I have found one so far but they want 300! Any guidance from people that have tried and tested would be much appreciated. Also, can anyone guide as to what extra bits (gaskets etc) I may need? Cheers in advance, Gilberto the funky Caveman.
