mk4 golf 20vt dump valve

    Seriously dont bother mate. They make your car run like poo.

    I bought one not long ago, which i used on my Mk2. I removed it straight away as it was making it run really badly.

    If you want the noise, like i did ;), drill your airbox, add a performance panel filter and a forge 007p, and you'll definitely get all the noise with out any running problems :thumbup:

    cheers, what do you think of cone filters on these engines or the induction kits that go down behind the headlight?

    I did run a cone filter for a while on my MK2 1.8T, but tbh i do prefer the drilled airbox option.

    The shorter cone filters seems to draw in too much heat from the engine bay. The ones which go behind the headlight / bumper is probably the best option if you want to go with the cone filter.
