please help every now again i get 3 beeps and the stop light come on , and its not followed by any other info in the manual it says when the stop light comes on normally is followed by what is wrong with it coolant level is ok and brake fluid is ok ( also when i remove brake fluid cap it says stop ,low brake fluid which rules that sensor out ) brake lights still work ( as i know the switch gives problems ) no fault codes when i start it the oil pressure light goes straight out as does abs and airbag i would be grateful for any help
as daft as it sounds is the handbrake fully releasing? i'm sure my mk4 gave me the same warning when i left the handbrake on slightly when i was in a rush depending on where your based finding someone local who has VCDS/Vagcom to plug in and do a scan for you, as it may throw you a fault code
Strange one ..... The only time ive had that in the past was - * Coolant level sensor needed replacing, as it kept coming on all the time * Oil wasn't circulating due to a clogged oil pick up. Not sure what else it could be ? Do you know anyone with vagcom, as something might come up on that ?
as said no fault codes when doing a vag com scan also if oil pipe clogged i expect oil pressure light to come on too
If you use vagcom the instrument cluster may log the low pressure fault Does it sound tappy? Low pressure is possibly the biggest killer for 1.8t lumps
