I think you are askin whats the difference between actual MK4 lights and MK4 style light for a MK3?

Well the shape is different (so they can be fitted to a MK3) and yes there is no indicator in there like an actual MK4 light.

 

But you can put your own indicators in the mk3-mk4 conversions like mine....

 

Or your dads.

 

If you want Mk4 lights then buy a Mk4.

You can buy mk3-4 conversion ones and stick your own indicator parts in.
