Can anyone tell me if the Mk4 engine cover will fit a Mk5 engine?
If so does it need much modifying?
    Any help greatly appreciated.

It just clips onto those 4 little pegs sticking out the sides of the manifold.

The rocker covers are different on the 2 engines so I don't know if it'd clear. I'll check later if the oil cap Odin the same location.

from what i have see i think it is only the pulley side of the cam cover that is different
and only diffrence in the inlets is how the throttle body sits
the mk4 is straight up and down the mk5 is angled back
    and the badge's

Is it worth trying to fit one or waste of time (and 45) ?

    I don't think I'd bother

I'd save the coin and get Porsche caps instead if it was me

I have a R8 oil and black plastic water cap

I've bought one for 40 and Toyotec has very very kindly collected it from a house in London

I'm hoping I can cut out an offset square around the oil cap, rotate it and glue it back in. More likely it will end up a garden ornament then go to the local tip next year lol

Someone on the owners club did it a while back

Your going to have to paint it so I'd be ever get I do the same as the car or get it hydro carbon fibre dipped
    Could look good

As you said if it looks crap it's no loss
