MK4 Seats

    The fronts do but the bases need modyfying, Phil off here has done it, ask him!!

    yeah, but if you compare the seats i'm sure mkIII's are even worse!

    i think you have to use the mkIII subframes welded to the mkIV seats. no-one has fitted the rears yet, but i wanna be the first! any idea on what needs to be done?

    LOL, well if no one has fitted them, then I don't think you'll get much of a response ;)

    I'd imagine that they probably fit physically, its just getting the mounting points sorted.

    well, thats what i've been thinkin...i don't mind puttin the effort in, as long as i get a 'as though fitted in factory' finish! just wondered if anyone had tried, but given up (so they could tell me what may be involved).

    Premier have already done one mate, so you won't be the first. New brackets need to be welded to the body. In that other thread you were asking how they wont look right.... Look how much of a curve there is on the rear bench, then match this up with the rear wheel arch. :)
