I have a early 2001 115bhp PD golf, I have just changed the head gasket about 2k miles ago due to it starting to use a little water, cleaned everything up all new gen gaskets and everythings mint again (but my economy has gone down a bit [:^(] ) I also cleaned out all the coke from the inlet while i was at it and checked the engine for wear and there was no signs of wear in the turbo or the bores or rings even after 180k!! (but i has been serviced to the book by VW) It has a KN pannel filter fitted at the moment but thats all. I have been offered a pair of perfect audi TT intercoolers, would this be worthwhile using? has anyone made the pipe work up to fit before? or am i better off fitting something like a big front mount cooler?
