Hey guys, I'm purchasing a 2004 1.8t Gti tomorrow morning, I've looked at the car all in all its in good shape, the only thing is, the title is claimed as "SALVAGE." I had looked at the car fax and it said that it had roof damage, the air bags did not deploy, the car was then rebuilt, no information on whom or how, but it passed inspection so I'm sure it is safe to drive. The car is going for $6990 USD 65k on the dash, I bargained him down to $5900 USD. Is it worth this much? I was consider the condition of it fair. According to the car fax the car is $-2150 USD below its book value. The car does have a slight ticking noise by the engine area when the hood is up, it's more noticeable. Please much help appreciated, any advice or tips. Thanks
