Just a query out of curiosity more than anything. The brakes on my mk5 GTI are rubbish. They stop ok for a few hard stops but anything more than that they fade really badly and its not hard at all to get them literally smoking. Both the discs are ok and the pads have plenty of meat on them. At first I thought one of the calipers was sticking but they both seem to move freely. Am I just boiling the brake fluid? Have some S3 stoppers to go on but would be good to know what the cause is. Cheers
