Not good.. not only is it the damage to the car and him/herself also the nice big repair bill to the track..and the joy of walking home.. is this really worth it?

The Armco was worth it's weight in gold in that instance! Car's safety system really doing it's thing too.

I heard the driver walked away. Lucky it didn't roll etc.

Blimey. that's a GOOD E5k+ in barrier there, and the same again on the car at least. not to mention the close call with death!

never, EVER lift in the foxhole.

lift before, lift after, but never lift in the compression :( Poor bloke.

Exactly the reason why I wouldn't go in one of my pride and joys.

If I was minted I wouldn't mind, but to total your car that quick after all the hard work and effort you put in would be devastating :(

    Yikes !

Lucky sod, but as Nick said. Don`t lift !!

Richard, I disagree. If you take your P&J, you are more likely to treat it with some respect and end up bringing it home in one piece. Take an old shed that you aren`t bothered about and your whole attitude changes. IMO.
