Mk5 Golf Engine Mountings

Does anyone know if the mounting points for the engine on a mk5 golf are the same as the mk2 golf?

 

no mate they are totally different, it has 1 engine mount, 1 gearbox mount and 1 stabiliser bar underneath on a mk5

 

ill give up on that idea then! too complex for me!

 

wimp. what was your plans?

 

Thought about mk5 engine and dash swap to mk2.

Im a complete novice so dont wanna bite off way too much for first attempt, just a little too much!!!!
