MK5 Golf R36 on the way????

Volkswagen are developing a new 3.6 V6 engine using its FSI technology and although the engine is destined for the Touareg, VW have recently registered the R36 name fueling speculation of the MK5 high performance model!

i can see the future now:

2010:

vw golf mkvI - R40, 4.0l v10 420ps, 2010kg!!

21" wheels as std and a bodykit that even supra owners w*** over!!!

 

and starting at a reasonable 35k..........

 

In 2010 35K will be quite reasonable

 

Don't you mean reassuringly expensive? Or am I getting my brands confused again....
