Can anyone recomend a company that will insure a car that has been modified for track days and sprints. Any guidance on cost would be appreciated. Its a 5 door golf 1.6 cl with stripped interior, modified brakes, suspension, cage fitted but little work to the 1.6 engine only card and exhaust. Thanks David

The only drawback being that I`m now limited to 2,000 miles a year whereas before I was at 8,000 miles per year. This limited mileage can be extended at a price. Car is described as `prepared for hillclimbs / sprints and trackdays` - no details required other than a few external photos. Cover for events is available at extra cost on an individual event basis.
With HIC last year but they could not touch Liverpool Victoria this year. As long as I dont increase the engine size I dont get charged for extra mods - its a 2.8 so I can live with that!
