Emo was once described to me as : Emo is much like a goth, except a bit less make up and much more Harry potter. It can also be paraphased into: Whiney little fcktards that think that no one understands them, that life is so difficult and no one else has been through what they have. So to be different, they dress up the same (contridiction in terms) with there perfect dyed fringes and be depressed whiney and annoying together whiling *****ing that middle class mummy and daddy don't understand them and how they never catch a break. Funnist Emo moment I had was havng the misforune of seeing an Emo band - all abotu 16 years old - in the local pub (they were playing before my mates were headlining) singing about how no one understands them, or helps them out and how there parents don't understand them. My mate (in the head lining band) started heckling them asking how the 16 year old bass player could afford a Wirless set up worth 200 - Reply over the mics were his Dad bought it for him
