Mounting vw standard MAP sensor in custom pipework, has anyone got any ideas / photos of how they have achieved this?

I've seen somewhere a weld in stainless flange but can't remember who supplies them.

    Hope someone can help.

This sort of thing Mike? Click

If it is...then you could possibly find a standard g60 plastic housing and use silicone hosing, much cheaper that way. Not the best way though as the plastic tubing has no re-enforcement where its clamped if you do cut it.

There's the usual g-werks etc too.

Jabba sport did one but there were some issues with it, poor quality/design from reports on other forums, have a look on some other forums for details. It may be worth making a copy of the one they marketed, think theirs was a little overpriced

Think that’s were I read the comments about their problems while I was looking for one for my car. If you find a better manufacturer then let me know, I could do with two of them

Or maybe not, as $52.75 is the cheapest shipping they offer. Darn, looks like I might have to get the guy at work to make one for me. Can probably get a few made if he's happy to do any.

Unless you wanna split the shipping on that?!

yeah, I've just emailed a chap at work but could go for the group buy option either way. I'll try and submit one when I get to work in about an hour.

As a moderator can you set one up mate on my behalf? I'll have to wait to hear back from the guy at work as I've just looked at the roster and he's not in for around a week.

If I have no joy there I'll fire an email to 034 motorsport and see if they would do any kind of discount for a group buy.

    Thanks,

    Mike

The shipping for 4 flanges is $52, they are ally not stainless though, would only cost a couple of quid to get someone to ally weld it into a pipe for you. I need 2, anyone else need any?
