    either a valver or g60 lump eventualy
    prob leave body stock cept for clear front indicators and smoked rear lights
    just need better brakes and a good susspension set up

    Nice! [:D] Engine plans sound fun too....

    gotta agree about the brakes though... they are awful!

    Reminds me of mine when I first bought it in 1996. [:D]

    I have a pic of a Scirocco without the side strips.
    I'll scan it in and post it on if you're wondering what it looks like. :p

    Keep the stripes! Keep the stripes! white ones look too tall without them - they make the car look longer, y'see.

    'Smoked' rear lights can be easily done with 3 boxes of halfords 3mm black pinstriping and a couple of hours patience with a sharp knife - just stick the pinstripes to the raised bits of the light moulding, and trim. They fit perfect.
