mud flaps ?

    hello everyone
    i am after some mud flaps for a 1997 mk3 vr6 . would like to find some original mud flaps, i have searched e bay and amazon as well as google but can not find the whole set can anyone help please . danny

    Might be a bit old fashioned but you canna fault a good rummage in a scrap yard

    There's loads of scrappers in Manchester! Pimhole Road in Bury has about four or five next door to each other...Autosave or Starbreakers are the best two.

    no luck with the mudflaps yet , the search continues

    well still no joy with the mud flaps , phoned about 20 or so breakers yards when i was off work and filled in about 10 online but with no luck . i wonder what happens to all those mudflaps that people take off there cars ? any help would be very welcome . thanks dannyv

    i have not tried vw dealers as i thought they would'nt be able to get the origanal mud flaps , from what ive heard they have the vw logo on them in white on the back and black on the front , or vice versa

    Yes thats correct, I ordered a set a few years ago.

    I dont know if they still are but worth a try.

    how much were they from the dealers, that may be the next place to try if devondubshack can not get hold of any.

    hi all , i have at last found some rear vortex mudflaps off ebay 15. that was after paying 20 for rears off my vw dealer only they dont come with the vw badge on them . now comes the hard part of finding some front vortex mudflaps (1h0 075112) oh yes before i forget my vw dealer said they dont sell the front mudflaps for a vr6 anymore, any help with the vortex fronts very welcome.

    hello , I am pleased to say my golf now has all four mudflaps fitted . only took me since august to get them but am really happy now , got them of ebay after a lot of nights searching . would just like thank everyone who posted a reply help me . and a big thanks to dan at devondubshack he was very helpfull

    I know you have a set now, but was clearing he garage and found some genuine mk3 rear vw logo mudflaps off my old mk3 16v. Will let them go for 25 posted if anyone wants them.
