Don't know what the steelies are from as they came with the care. I got the original BBS wheels with summer tyres and the 15" steelies with winter tyres. As to the center console the one just below the radio is climate control and the one below just in front of the gear leaver is the Nokia DSP which came factory fitted on all 20 Jahre GTI here in Germany. It gives you options like 'concert', 'disco', etc. Nothing fancy but something that is rare Edited by: mattwelcer

I am near Stuttgart, so i'm down in the South West of Germany. As to the UK 20th Anniversary Golf's i don't think they did because they had other stereo's as well if i remember correctly. Another one of the mainland Europe things unfortunately. Edited by: mattwelcer

Yeah i know Mosbach, not that well but i have an idea where it is. Not far then really from Stuttgart considering how big Germany is. I am currently living on the North East side of Stuttgart so i am quite a way from Mosbach and that surrounding area. Hopefully i should be getting some more pics when we start to get better weather. Looking forward to spring then i can put my alloys back on the car!
DSP?...Climate?...WTF?...never heard of any UK car coming with these. Mine has Aircon AND a sunroof, which is quite rare to have both as factory fitted options, but not as rare kit as that! Nice looking motor higgim Edited by: VeedubyaGTi
The motor's mine not higgim's [:^(] Its a German 20 Jahre GTI hence thats why it has the options like it does.

I have seen the DSP units going on the German e Bay but unfortunately i have never actually seen the complete thing. Either it is the actual sound processor that goes in the boot or it is the cabling or just the control unit for the centre console. To be honest though its nice as a unique OEM thing but with the after market units i wouldn't bother sourcing and trying to install the DSP unit from Nokia.
