Doesn't look bad. The seats are probably worth what you paid for it.

    What's the plan?

the seats are the reason why i brought it in the first place. plan of action is get the car running i have a spare pb lump just in case, refurb the alloys clean the body work up and get it tax and MOTed. and probably sell it eventually. seats are going in my daily.....plans could change very quickly [:D]

the disease is very infectious, she has landed, it on my drive:) bit of a bonus it has electric recaros and a fisher cd holder which i believe is rare and expensive? lots of history seams solid underneath few dings expected for 22 years of age. quick inspection of the engine the bottom pulley has come lose il put another pulley on it and see if it fires up. what's the chances it hasn't bented a valve?

take it that its an 8v, non interference engine but if its gone at high revs there is a chance it could of caught a valve

8v are interference engines, all vw engines are, if it's just a loose crank pulley then there shouldn't any probs if it's the small crank pulley driven by the cambelt then maybe

i think all of club gti was biding on it lol. its not as good as it looks but worth 400 notes. took the engine apart today the camshaft has welded itself to the head:o seams like he ran it out of oil seezed the top end  and more then likely the bottom ends shagged as well. so now the engines out and ready to be swapped for another. the body work needs some love it looks allot better in the pictures.

there's no paint code sticker in the boot how can i find the paint code? or does any one no the code? its just straight black non metalic

if any ones has 5 door panels in black and good condition ill have them

    cheers
