My early Mk2 GTI

    Car now at Reading for engine and gearbox re-installation and all nec. running gear etc. and MOT.
    Due for a finish hopefully Jan 19 and will drive her back from there....
    U/side in remarkable condition with only 1 or 2 small areas of original underseal in need of making good.

    All done, almost....
    MOTd and back on the road again.
    Her 35th birthday 23 March just gone.

    The car looks fantastic Paul. It must be the finest early MK2 GTi in the UK. I hope I get to see it some day. I still miss mine but at least I have another MK2.
