My mom has an F reg 520 bmw (not brilliant)

    I have the mk2 8v as a daily driver

I want a corrado but dont want to sell the 8v

so i suggested to my mom ill by a corrado and insuere it with her on the pollicy

she can drive it most of the time, i have the choice of the 8v or the raddo

She can sell the bm and bank the 800 ish from it

The number of cars in the household is unaffected,
parking dosent become a problem and she gets to drive around in a newer car with 800 to spend on face cream/perfume etc

    SHE SAYS NO !!!

    is she mad [:s]

how can i persuade her ?

I thought of just selling it but it would mean domestic agravation untill i by my own house [8(]

(and i dont want to do that as it would infringe on my car spending)

Lol - if I ever want to borrow my mum's Pishrat estate to carry bits in, but she needs it that day, I just do the old "It REALLY needs a new flux capacitor/exhaust filter/tyre washer fluid pump, and it's really not safe for you to drive without it - I'll take it round to my house and do it there, because all my tools are there. I'll leave you the Golf, in case you need to go out..."
Knowing fine well that the Golf steering is so heavy that she can't even get it out of the driveway, and it has no MoT or tax, so she'll never drive it....  [}:)]
