that looks stonking, not many things on the road that can match these for pace, especially when tinkered with!

Only gonna go up in value...a real keeper and a classic...try not tamper with it too much as these will be worth serious money in a few years.

agreed, other than the big front brakes, exhaust and the power upgrade I have recently fitted different front and rear anti roll bars and will fit bilstein PSS9 coilovers other than that it will stay as is

    Good man!!!

These are strong money but I foresee these going for 30k + in a few years....especially good low mileage examples. Trouble is you want drive it everyday!! They will be similar to the M3 CSL's.

Been watching RS4 prices for a while now. B5s and B7s are dropping steadily...

I fancy a B7 and decent ones will drop sub-20k before long. Leggy ones are hitting 22k now, and there's a few, probably thrashed examples you'd never touch, going for 15-16k.

Super-low mileage examples will always command a premium, but I can't see a B5 being 30k+ anytime soon!

Looks like a nice example

I've loved the Audi RS avant's ever since living next to a guy who used an old S2 Avant as his race car tow car....

I was looking at similar B7's before I had checked the insurance bill....

Having been shopping for similar age and mileage S3's though - the thrashed high milers really did show when test driven or with tell tell tale signs of bad modification under the bonnet.

Who knows what they will go for in some years. One thing is for sure low mileage ones are not dropping from what i can see. Personally id like to see it go up in value of course, its going to be hard to try and keep the miles down too. Insurance is cheap - benefit of being over 40 i guess, in the future these will always be worth more than b7 rs4 as there are not many b5 ones around.

Now a days it's really hard to manage and keep these old cars, there maintenance is such a big issue but if you got the right one car and it's mileage is also not dropping you so it's the best thing you got in the earth for you.
