The Karmann pickup was amazing :-0 as you would expect from a high profile coach builder everything was so spot on. We weren't allowed to touch anything, but the rado wasn't the rarest thing there as you can probably see in the background. Top of the shop for me was the notchback cabriolet :-/ I've seen a couple of home made jobs since then, but everything down there was unique :-)
The Corrado looks great in that colour, the engine transplant is a real bonus also, must have been a fairly expensive coversion when done, what gearbox is it fitted to?Those Teledials aren't rare just unloved, the only ones that are rare are the early early turbo ones cause they look a little better.............sorry.
Cheers for the comment mate, yes it must been a expensive conversion. the gearbox is a 02a, but using a 02j gear linkage. With the teledials, these will be my winters on here anyways
If you mean this one: Andy still owns it, though it's BAM engine went pop, a new engine is all built up ready to go in.
What flavour 02A is it Bobby? (e.g. 02A CDA out a Mk3 16v) just interested from a gear ratios point when coupled with 225 1.8t
Yeah Bobby's a local to us Edd We've met up at the Ace Cafe a few times this year. Top guy The black Rado was nice too. I'm yet to see this one and the Jetta.
lol Yeah I know Edd Been speaking to 20v, Ritesh and a few of the other local guys, and most of there project cars are off the road at the moment. Hoping to get a meet setup in the new year, as Xmas time is always busy for everyone. (Goes off to the London section )
