nope, basic Canon 400d Slr, and some are taken with a Sigma 10-20mm.

Just lots of practice. Only had the camera since March so still got lots to learn :)

    Great fun tho!

You certainly have a good eye for a photo :) And some HDR skills, too.

I'm considering getting myself a wide angle lens and now I've seen your landscapes, it's helping to persuade me .........

Looks like we'll be having a serious competitor when Wez has made up his mind the subject for January's competition.

It might be! Just that, depending on who the winner is each month, we could end up with VW subjects every month!

It's Wez who organised the competition, so he's the man to pester ;)

trouble with having the winner pick the comp - is he could choose the best picture he already has and base the subject around that!!!! I vote loser gets to choose ha ha

    This gets more complicated!

I think he said - or did I imagine? - that the pics have to be taken after the subject is announced, so that people can't use their previous masterpieces.

easy to check the dates of pics using the EXIF data attached to the pic, photobucket shows this if you go to the gallery page with the pic on.

Cheers guys, only 9,10 &11 are HDR, with only 10 done to extremes but think it suits it. Not really an HDR fan tbh...
