bought my golf january this year. looked the nuts as it was but i am a modified kinda girl and so the project began: when i bought her, came on 17s, lowered 60mm all round on Konis, full leather interior (heated), sexy stainless zorst: then i added a debadged grille which i didnt bother colour coding as just a stand in til i got the vento headlights: this morning i have fitted vento lights, bonnet and grille, and it looks rough but will look spanking when the project is finished: the whole car is going to be pink when its finished so gonna have to drive it round looking like a wreck for a while[:^(]
Looking good sure itll be lovely when finished! Not sure about pink but since you are a girl it does figure lol Vento front end...nice. Hopefully gona do that on mine!
bringon the metallic pink, think its called miami pink. updated the bonnet this avo for a laugh, all gonna be resprayed anyways, haha.....
Surely when you were putting your St. Georges cross on the bonnet with your electrical tape or whatever you thought of lining it up with the VW badge so it was in the middle....didn't you? Oh, no, looks like you didn't.
more work done today to kickstart the respray we have pulled off the arches, primed a quarter panel and roof, and started work on the passenger quarter panel as it needs attention: flusted mixing the paint... wont be long now
Was thinkin the same?! Please dont take offence..a Pink, Vento-fronted Mk3 sounds simply bloody aweful I guess final pics will tell....
well everyones entitled to their opinions. only doing base coat of primer outside, its being professionally sprayed in about 3/4 weeks. change of plan: i know ur all gonna go mad but ive bought a maHOOsive bodykit of ebay:
Perfectly feasible with a non-metallic colour - I spray outside pretty regularly, and as you're flatting back and polishing anyway, any dust specks etc. come right out. The best painter I know does a lot of 2 pack AND celly paint jobs in people's driveways - classic cars, going in for concours competitions!
