Know what u mean. I should hopefully get a couple of pictures of my golf on the forum tonight, it always looks fine in pics but they all hide a multitude of sins.

I agree with u mate, i gotta big bumper myself but i do appriatiate the small bumper models, i think they make the golf look more stripped out racer.

I love the small bumpers, big bumpers are cool, probably round the car off slightly better, but I prefer the pre 90 look.

Big bumpers do look good.... but on the right 'era' car.... imho, if a car was made with small bumpers... it should keep 'um.... (just my humble opinion).....

Looks quite presentable in the pictures. My valver IS ratty. if i can borrow a digiatl camera I will post some pics. I kicked the rear valance the other day and a lump of rust fell out! Mechanically spot on though. Great fun.

Again i agree as i thought thats what owning a golf is about, at the end of the day if u want a big bumper buy a big bumper, if u dnt then buy the pre-90 model. VW were never wrong when they came to the styling of the golf, so keep how it came from the box.

Excellent! I love it when a seemingly big problem turns out to be a cheap one to fix!!
