update today, worked my bloody **** off, its freezing cold too.

I haven't got long(going back to uni next week), I got a MASSIVE list of jobs to do to finish it off, but they are all small, somehow take ages to do though.

Today I have sorted out the bulk of my wiring.. Got a few more wires left. I ended up running out of time to take pics, as i didnt finish till 6.30... By this time, my back and legs were hurting so much I couldnt even move. anyway early start tomorrow, another full day of working on it!

had to run another 6wires into the engine bay today.

(vdo gauges, fan over ride switch, crank postion earth, 2 X 12v+ injector wires, Main ground wire for megasquirt, 1 X spare)

Doesnt seem many, but it sure adds up in space, and wireness, they are bloody everywhere in my car, crazy mount of wiring.

I have taped all my loom up now to look neat, but dont have any pics of this.. yet

Primed, sprayed and lacquered my supercharger outlet today

Mounted and secured my rad fan properly.

uprated my earth cable for some sexual earth cable.

Due to my thermostat seal ****ing out all the coolant, had to take the pas pump off and do that. (doing it tomorrow)

    cheers jon and jonny!

finally got the car fully back together today...

    album:

    http://car.sc0rian.com/Engine Install/Supercharger Build/2008_01_28 car back together/

took ages to sort all the little problems out. The car is now ready to drive. I just need my mate to pop over to help me map the engine..

how my engine bay looks now:

    rain tray is in
    coilpack is mounted properly.

i've got rid of my pillar gauge thing now, also got my new XD-16 gauge.. its the tits!

That black gauge next to it, is the boost gauge. As you can see I got my center console in too.

I had big problems getting my fuseboard back up due to the mount of wires. I ended up getting the orignal bracket in half, and screwing it up. I got the fuseboard on the brackets, but couldnt push it straight, due to havin too many wires. So I just put a cable tie around it to be extra secure. Doesn't look pretty. Don't matter though, tray goes over it, wont see it. Its the best way I can fit it.. for now.

seats and steering wheel are in.

passengers will be minding there feet!

I had a look at my project folders today. And how many snaps i've acutally taken.

    [:D]

i got the slim line fan from ebay, un-sure on make, just said 12" 12v 80w fan. [:D] works perfectly.

before i start, many thanks to my mate tim who has helped me through last week. he has really put some mad effort in.

the first problem i had was i couldnt get the car to rev past 2300rpm

anyway after getting really stressed with it, finally worked it out to being two caps on megasquirt. removed them. all fixed.

    now..

I decided to take the week off uni to get it fixed. [:$]

we started it, revs past 2300rpm, all the way to rev limiter. great.. its fixed. we both had lots of joy on our faces. anyway, as soon as it was getting up to temp, it just died, with a spark from the ECU. We blew one of the tracks on the board, because it isnt designed for spark output (running msextra), so running a simple wire, that was fixed.

Started it again, perfect. Right, we waited whilst it got up to temp, then suddenly died again. "oh WHY DONT YOU JUST BLOODY WORK YOU HEAP OF SH*T" moment.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgYFeUEYsqU

This is how it stands. It starts up, runs FINE, starts to get up to temp, and just dies. seriously WTF problem. I have been thinking about it all day today (decided to take a day off the car today). My mate tim is coming over tomorrow with his megasquirt ECU and we're gonna give that a try. Before he comes over, i'm gonna take my crank postion sensor out, and remove a seal I put on, which I thought it needed, but it's only a vr6 thing. And see if that fixs it.

If neither of those fix it. Then.. I dunno.. I will acutally [:^(] [:^(]

So lets hope tomorrow, i get it fixed. and it finally runs...
