ewww modern engines have no style to them anymore, should have stuck to the original vr6 design.

i notice that the layout is the opposite to earlier dubs aswell, wonder why that is?

Isn't there something to be said for removing the cover and therefore reducing under bonnet temperature? It may only be by a few degrees but it all helps.

At the end of the day, if the engine isn't an R32 I wouldn't put an R32 cover on it. Just as I wouldn't put an RS Turbo badge on an XR3.

I'd rather spend the money on something that will enhance the looks of the car with the bonnet closed, or a chip / exhaust to improve the performance so it will at least go a bit quicker.

I wouldnt put it on with an R32 badge on it. Not my style at all ;). Performance mods are out for a while due to my insurance company - 201BHP is enough for now, when it starts to feel normal I will look at a zorst and chip. Just think the current cover is hideous

I think, if ya polished up that manifold etc (the grubby bits under your engine cover) it would look sweet with no cover! Just needs some tlc first ;)

Would look good polished up, is it possible to remove that front flappy thing (the bit that r32 logo is stuck onto)?

I'd get the R32 style black bits for it dude, no need to badge it up as a R32. Would look the dogs danglies with the metal bits polished too. [8D] :p [:^:]

LOL! Well the R32 cover is 54. Not bad, might get one, rip the badge off, put a V6 one on it.

don't think its worth spending 54 on something like that...better places to spend that money.

Not gonna do it any time soon, bills to pay. But everything for the MKIV is more expensive - cant get much for 50..wish I had a MK2 sometimes for that reason.

Just spent 40 getting my grille painted, and worked out for the Anniversary alu trim, TT pedals, W8 light and engine cover Im looking at its 450....so wheels come first.

450...can't be that much, you telling me that the light and the trim totals about 370 (tt pedals are 21, engine cover 54)?
