I need help figuring out how low to lower my 06 GTI. I want it to be low enough to where people can realize it's lowered but not so low that I will tear the bottom of my car up. I want to go somewhere from 1.5 - 2 inches. Thanks!
Hello and welcome to CGTI Hope you don't live in Nottingham. After three deaths - all involving stolen vehicles - on a main road near me, the council put in eight speed bumps so high that my son's standard (not lowered) Mini Cooper couldn't get over them without scraping! Two inches is quite a lot to lower your car. I have copied your thread to the Chassis section, where you are more likely to get a practical answer. Good luck with your project.
