Couldnt find pads for an Audi with Girling 60 two piston calipers in my local factors and I didnt exactly want to pay Audi over 100 for pads. I noticed a 98 Range Rover 2.5 DSE at work with what looked like Girling 60 calipers on it, took my calipers to the factors measured the carriers and they looked like the pads fitted ordered a set and yes they fit perfectly. The Range Rover also uses a 25mm thick disc just like the Audi's so a Golf G60 280 disc should be fine as there only 22mm thick. These just sweep off the inside of the disc. Audi disc's are 276mm I used goodridge hoses on mine, but im pretty sure std hoses will fit fine
So............. do these Range Rover pads sweep the inside of the disc like the Audi's or are they clear???
yeah they sweep the inside of the disc by about 2 mm at the most but I am using cheap pads and discs for now will change to VW or Ate power discs or similar later and better pads
i ended up ordering audi s2 pads... here are the two pads: Audi s2 pads: Notice the spring and the "nugget" that holds the pads.. So it can't move.. Ranger Rover ones:
